Η εκκλησία είναι τρίκλιτος βασιλική καμαροσκεπής μετά τρούλου, και με ξεχωριστό κωδωνοστάσιο. Φαίνεται όμως από κάποια ίχνη που υπάρχουν πάνω από την νοτιοδυτική είσοδο ότι στο σημείο εκείνο της οικοδομής, υπήρχε παλαιότερα ένα καμπαναριό που καταργήθηκε όταν κτίστηκε το 1903, το σημερινό ανεξάρτητο του κυρίου κτίσματος του ναού.
